Are you ready for this? You should be, because you get to choose a winner.

Pastaval has been a highlight of the Southside Fringe program for several years, with foodies signing up to try macaroni at participating restaurants around the area and score them on their cheesy take.

It’s organised by Glasgow food blogger Emma Mykytyn, of Foodie Explorers, who hands over a suitably cheesy trophy to the winning eatery - previous top mac makers include The butterfly and the pig south and The Waverley Tea Rooms.

"Buy your ticket and eat your way through Shawlands, scoring each of the venues to help crown the south side’s best mac and cheese", Emma told Glasgow Live.
