Ryanair's CEO is promissing extremely low fares for flights to US. Good news for us Backpackers.

Michael O'Leary said his airline plans to offer flights from Europe to the United States as cheap as $14. As reported by The Telegraph, he made those remarks at the Irish Hotels Federation earlier this week. The flights would depart from up to 14 major European cities to 12 to 14 destinations in the United States.

O'Leary would not engage in speculation when asked how he plans on realizing that since Ryanair does not operate the fleet capable of such long flights. Also, he said that for this to be possible, the flight would have to have more than few business class seats, which will be more expensive, off course.

Even though the airline charges fees for bags, credit card transactions and printed boarding passes, this should still be a nice package for traveling abroad.
