 A Virgin passenger plane has been hijacked on its way to Bali from Brisbane, it was reported today, said Daily Mail.


 

Later is said that a Virgin Australia flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Bali today when a drunk passenger triggered a hijack alert after trying to enter the cockpit.The Indonesian air force said troops stormed the Boeing 737-800 after the pilot reported an attempted hijacking en route from Brisbane.A Virgin Australia official later said the alert was sparked by a drunk passenger who was acting aggressively and slammed on the door of the cockpit.The 28-year-old man, who authorities identified as Matt Christopher from Australia, was handcuffed by the crew mid-air and placed in a seat at the back of the plane.
