Tolerance, equal rights, equality, truth and justice are synonymous with the Festival of Tolerance – Jewish Film Festival Zagreb, a unique international event to take place in Zagreb from 8th to 14th April 2017 for the 11th subsequent year.

The aim of the Festival’s comprehensive ancillary programme is to spread the truth about and keep the memory of the Holocaust victims as well as to raise awareness and embrace tolerance in our everyday lives.
Headed by the double Academy Award winner, Mr Branko Lustig, so far the Festival was supported by a host of very famous filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, Stefan Ruzowitzki, Stellan Skarsgård, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Rade Šerbedžija, Volker Schlöndorff and Istvan Szabo.
Until this year, more than 120.000 people took part in our film screenings, and over 20.000 particpated in the so-called educational mornings. The 11th edition of the festival of Tolerance will bring over 60 films, 2 exhibitions, concerts, book presentations, educational mornings with Branko Lustig and Daniel Wildmann, a round table and as many as 8 discussions dedicated to socially engaged topics.
The opening of the exhibition presenting Arik Brauer's works on 3rd of April at the Museum of Art and Crafts will be the prelude to this year's Festival events.
